Nice to meet you!

I’m Mel, a twenty-something freelance journalist and blogger writing about sustainable fashion.

I'm also the current fashion editor for The Falmouth Anchor.

The media is fast fashion's biggest ally, promoting overconsumption and misrepresenting sustainable fashion as a beige, expensive fad.

Instead, I'm advocating for a fashion industry that’s inclusive, expressive and accessible and one that champions both the planet and the people. You don't have to sacrifice aesthetics for ethics.

In my free time, you can find me at my sewing machine, shamelessly repeating outfits or indulging in plant-based food. Join the conversation over on my blog, browse the recent work in my portfolio or stay in the loop by signing up to my newsletter. Here, I share monthly round-ups of what's happening in the sustainable fashion community.
